Well, that ticks a lot of boxes. Rocky fuelled yet instantly addictive. Familiar in its form but totally fresh in its execution. More sonic hooks than a Peter Pan convention, more chops than a West Texas meat packing factory. Full of driving bass lines, distant sonic washes and a vocal line that you will have stuck in your head from about half way through the first chorus. Rock with immediacy, music made between pop and a hard place. What’s not to like?
