Indie-folk? Ambient pop? Acoustic chill? Etherealcore? Okay, I’m just making genres up now, but songs like this prove the limitations of genre. So, I’m not sure where this new one from Abigail Wighton fits into the musical landscape, and I don’t really care. All I know is that I really love it.

After all, what is not to love? The delicacy of the vocals. The way that it moves from solo song-songwriter to understated band mode with effortless precision. The use of space. The intimacy of the lyrics. The classical sweeps that act as a backdrop.

One-word review? Gorgeous.
