A quick look through the personnel behind this debut single, and you can see why it is so well crafted, so deftly done even as an opening salvo.
Driven by singer, guitarist, and producer Donny Dykowsky, Mirrors on the Moon sees him joined by fellow Chesterwhite bassist Freddy Pastore as well as players who have graced stages and recordings for everyone from Uni and the Urchins to Colorjoy to Lady Gaga. And whilst it takes more than an impressive resume to make a great song, Get Lost proves that this new collective has what it takes.
With more than a whiff of sixties garage band spaciousness, loose college rock grooves, skittering psychedelic beats and a heady, hazy acid-fuelled vibe, Get Lost is the bridge between the likes of Jefferson Airplane and the modern indie sound, between the Summer of Love and the 21st-century underground rock sound, between now and then, pop and a hard place.
Groovy man!
