home_left_sydThe family of the iconic musician who died ten years ago will be unveiling a new official website at 12 noon on Wednesday 6th January, offering a wealth of previously unseen family photographs documenting Syd from early childhood until the early 1980s. There are plans to reveal more unseen material at regular intervals throughout the year, as well as publishing a range of articles about Syd and his music from celebrity guest writers.

The original site is still live. The new site will occupy the same web address from noon tomorrow.

From a musical icon to one of the UK’s most talked about emerging artists – Alistair James has already been attracting attention from the likes of Miles Kane, Tom Clarke, BBC 6 Music’s Tom Robinson and Mark Plati, the New York based producer who has worked with the likes of Prince, The Cure and David Bowie.

Mark Plati was so impressed by Alistair that he invited him over to to NYC to record there fore three months last year. Those sessions resulted in the recording of Alistairs’ single ‘Have You Ever Been Low’, a gloriously upbeat record that is sure to see of any January blues!
