What are they on about? Well, I’ll tell you. Lyrically, they are on about the recollection of a night out in Amsterdam, wandering foreign streets in a drug fug state, staggering between a trippy dream state and neon-light, garish realities.

Sonically, they are on about big guitar riffs, thunderous drums and driving bass lines. Anthemic music indeed. What I’m On About exists at that liminal border where rock and indie collide, precisely where Oasis got their first album sound from. Could What I’m On About be the Cigarettes and Alcohol of its time? It might just be.
