Tell Me About Europe is one of those classic-sounding indie-pop songs that feels timeless, or at least could have been created anytime from the mid-eighties, particularly as part of the post-punk, New Pop scene to…well, this very morning.

I just mean that it shares all the hallmarks that fill such songs with longevity and classic vibes rather than suggesting Nead Next Door is backward glancing. Hallmarks including gentle infectiousness, sonic lightness of touch, easy accessibility, and poise.

Then again, anything that reminds me of bands such as Everything But The Girl will always sit well with me. And this does.
