On their latest track, Rely, Horsebread effortlessly blend dream-pop ethereality with more robust, jangling rock urges. Call it power-pop, call it alternative rock, call it what you want, as long as you play it. A lot.

The song builds in lushness and grace as it travels towards its final destination. It runs through an evolution that borders on progressive rock latitudes, not that those sonic purveyors could cover so much ground in the three minutes that Horsebread needs to get the job done.

Short, sharp, and shockingly good. Who cares what we call it as long as you call it up regularly?
