Sitting between the intricacy and intensity of shoegaze and dream-pop’s more shimmering and understated sonic realms, Night Time is a lush and lovely affair. Consisting less of traditional riffs but rather one long, evolving, spiralling guitar motif backed by other shards of chiming and charming sonics, Bonnethead is a band that seems to hark back to a heavenly heyday.
If you had told me that this was a long-lost band that once graced the stage alongside the likes of early Lush, My Bloody Valentine, Ride or Slowdive, I’d probably not offer any argument or objection whatsoever.
