There are two camps in the guitar world. (And this is a gross generalization.) The squalling, more powerful sound of the electric camp and the spaciousness of that made in the understated, acoustic realms. Well, Fictional Bliss makes music where both these worlds meet.

Even when the most searing sounds are playing out, there is always an acoustic guitar spiralling and chiming through the song’s core. And when that acoustic takes centre stage, it is always backed up and lifted head high by the more energetic electric urges that power it to new heights.

Acoustic delicacy dancing with brutal rock sonics? Lovely stuff.
