At that point where heavy blues swagger, classic rock riffs, alternative vibes and southern grooves all collide and coalesce, you find Between Daze, a real heads-down-no-nonsense, foot-on-the-monitor, fist-in-the-air, kick-arse rock and roll band.
And sometimes, that is all you need. In Between Days feels like a musical TED talk about the history of rock music, with blistering backbeats acting as PowerPoint presentations and guitar riffs as laser pointers. It’s all in there somewhere, the fun is in trying to unravel it all.
