Depending on which way you hold this sonic gem up to the light, it might appear to be many different things to different people. One might hear a moody rock song, another an adventurous piece of indie music, a third might revel in its intelligent pop vibe, and someone else might even hear a touch of bluesy psychedelia, particularly in its masterful guitar break.
Well, what you hear and what you call it don’t matter. All that matters is that the musical landscape is a better place for having Canning and this song, in particular, in it.
