Body Snatchers, despite the dark name, sits at a beautiful place where 80’s synth-pop is infused with more modern alt-rock, where the infectiousness of the mainstream is subverted by the forces of more underground energies and urges. Or, put another way, a song caught between pop and a hard place. And the result is nothing short of sublime.

Sweet vocals add the icing on the cake, but it is the creative collisions of the forces at the heart of the song which are the real joy.
