Well, you certainly wake you up when you just sit down to write about the latest pop platters and this comes tumbling out of the speakers. Taken from the forthcoming Absent EP, this is metalcore in the most modern sense of the tag. Progressive metalcore? Is that a thing?
At turns, we go from understated intros to squalling guitars to almost traditional hard rock verses to a chorus that howls at the moon, punchy deliveries, and demonic vocals until the whole song is dragged kicking and screaming into the bowls of the hellish realms.
It is fair to say that it got my attention
