​“‘Don’t Forget The Joker’ is pretty much the centre piece of the album, certainly from a lyrical standpoint. It’s different to the rest of the material, in that it sounds drunk, half-played and slurred, which is kinda what the words are about.”

Ex-Oceansize frontman and current Biffy Clyro touring guitarist Mike Vennart is set to release his debut solo album titled ‘The Demon Joke’ on the 22nd June 2015. He recently completed a short run of UK headline dates, the first with his solo band that also feature former Oceansize cohorts Steve Durose and Gambler, as well as Ginger Wildheart alumnus Denzel on drums. The final date of the tour took place at a sold-out show in Manchester, and you can see a live video filmed at that show, for the track ‘Don’t Forget The Joker’, here:
