Epic is the word for what TaughtMe is doing here, but epic in a sort of downbeat and understated way…if such a thing isn’t an oxymoron. A slow-burning, ever-building upward spiral of anthemic art-pop that takes in both soulfulness and gothic pathos along the way, to genres which are rarely found in the same sentence.

But you should check the song out; it is like little that you will have heard before and will be everything that you need from now on.
