The world is a small place, and the more cultural cross-over and merging of creativity, especially music, we have, the smaller it gets. It is why you will find hip-hop bands in Tibet, soul bands in Iceland, and Americana acts in Italy. And talking of the latter, this new album from Alberto Fabbris is about as good a set of songs as you will hear from that quarter.

The New Journey mixes alt-country, acoustica, folk, and rock ‘n’ roll in perfect balance, and if you told any listener that this was straight out of the bars of the East Nashville scene, I seriously doubt anyone would disagree. Authenticity is the name of the game.
