I loved the previous single, Evergreen, and I love this. Iris Blue are one of those bands that wander around several genres, pulling in strands to make a sound that can only be defined as classic.
I’m not saying that you have heard it all before, but there is something in the groovy and buoyant basslines, the rock and roll weight, the driving beats, and the infectiousness of the overall sound that makes you feel as if you have been listening to S.I.M.M. and Iris blue in general, all your life. And such smart sonic tooling doesn’t happen by accident.
