Blending a garage rock rawness of delivery with an indie sensibility in the crafting of the songs themselves, the oddly named Rocky’s Cuffs complement and confound in equal measure.
Fans of alt-rock and more abrasive music will find their blend of melody and muscle intriguing; indie kids will appreciate that their heavier angle brings something new to a sound usually built around more obvious infectiousness and accessibility.
I’m not sure what you’d call their music; I’m just glad that they make it.
