Having reviewed a few of Polyvoda’s singles, it is great to find them all together in one place. It’s only then that you can appreciate the breadth and scale of the creativity at work here. This trio of musicians and multi-instrumentalists collaborate with vocalists from all over the world to create their music, and what great music it is, too.
At a turn, we move between dance and electronica, trip-hop and R&B, pop and neo-soul and beyond, hopping music demarcations and creating whole new genres as they go. Their music is always adventurous and always has something to say—just what the mainstream music realm is calling out for.
