After fifteen albums of music made with bands such as Pelzig and Slut, René Arbeithuber has finally got around to exploring himself as a solo artist. And I have to say, I like what I hear. No, make that I love what I hear.

Pathetic Fallacy is a gorgeous blend of dream-pop ethereality, more cavernous alt-rock plateaus, shimmering shoegazing sonics, and floating vocals. Anyone who makes me want to dust off my Ride and Slowdive albums will always be my musical ally.

Great music; the only question is, why did he wait so long to captain his musical ship?
