Like A Painting, my first taste of Head Sound, did what any single worth its salt should do. It made me want to know more. It made me want to hear more. And so, here I am listening to Optimistic, their new one and what a treat it is.
A tasteful blend of alternative vibes, ambient drifts and dream-pop eloquence, it sits in those half-heard, half-felt realms, the place where the music just washes over you and is absorbed into the senses seemingly by osmosis rather than anything more deliberate than that.
