Once found working with Dream Whip and now releasing music under her name, Beth Baines makes music that blurs the lines between soulful solo singer and dream-pop soundscaping cinematics.

Nepeta seems to glide rather than groove, floating effortlessly in a seemingly structureless and untethered way, just as mist or smoke might. It’s a beautiful song too, the sound you might expect from a Bat For Lashes album, perhaps that perfect balance between digital modernity and timeless, analogue-driven traditions.

Gorgeous! There is no other word for it.
