If the previous single, Inertia, was a dark and growling affair, all brooding rock attitude harnessed into an alt-pop form, her new one, Hope Moves, is an altogether more spacious and easily accessible affair.
Essentially, it is piano and voice with only a few subtle sonic layers and a spacious beat add to shape the song; the dexterous pattern and placement of the vocals lead the song, causing the music to ebb and flow wonderfully.
Less is more? We know it is. If so, can a lot less make for a lot more? Certainly. And this is all the proof that you need.
