This makes a lovely change from the usual onslaught of cooler-than-thou rockers and deluded rap wannabes constantly clogging up my work pile. Is anyone up for a bit of Afro-grooved indie that sounds like the love child of Scott Walker and Tracy Chapman? If so, this is the stuff.

Had No Words runs on gorgeously lazy rhythms and spacious guitar licks, pulsing bass lines, and striking harmonies, both in the form of Daisy’s wonderfully immediate and sensual vocals and the additional harmonies that array around it.
