Eighteen years old and sounding like they have been in the game for decades, that has to be a good sign. The Rolling People follow a long tradition of North West indie-rock; tones and textures flit through their songs, reminiscent of everything from Echo and the Bunnymen and The Icicle Works to modern torchbearers such as Everything Everything and no slight echo of their own home city’s, Brit pop past.

But all that would be mere trivia and journalistic blather if it weren’t for one thing. The Rolling People write great songs!
