If that isn’t a well-chosen band name, then I don’t know what is. Why? Because Give Me Something is one of those warm and welcoming songs, ones that makes you smile, a veritable sonic sunbeam if ever there was one.

Their brand of accessible indie-pop is the missing link between the singer-songwriter’s sound and the impact of a whole band’s delivery. The result is a song that embraces the deft spaciousness of the solo troubadour and also the more elegant and ornate properties of a band who knows that less is more and their job is to serve the song. Lovely stuff, indeed.
