Terje Gravdal has done it all, played it all, and worn all the musical hats there are to wear in the music business. And that wealth of experience is heard in his music.
Get in Line is a song built from gorgeous strands of guitars, sonic lines that collide and complement, merge and meld, a cascade of six-string tones and finger-picked textures, but more importantly space and light.
As Terje knows all too well, just because you can play well doesn’t mean that you need to play all over a song, and here he does exactly enough, serving the music (rather than the ego), and it is perhaps what is left unplayed that speaks volumes regarding his songwriting prowess.
