Who says that metal can’t be deep and meaningful? Although the genre has been tarred and feathered, to some degree, by those who want to scream nonsense lyrics or write epic narratives about journeys into deep space or the wastelands of Mordor, there are those on the scene who have something a bit more interesting to say—people like Padhef.
Here, with their latest track, Eternal, as with all of their songs, they take a deep dive into the very nature of the human condition and what it even means to exist in this world. And this they do over a deft blend of classic metal riffs and industrial abrasiveness.
