Mentioned in Dispatches: Behind the Banlieue – Porter

I recently wrote about Porter’s excellent mix of rock sounds on Tax Free Hollows, and here they are again with another song title that I don’t really understand the meaning of, perhaps something to do with an urban uprising? Maybe the meaning gets a bit lost in translation- not that it matters.

All that matters is the music, and again, Porter effortlessly blends classic rock structures with an alternative vibe, though this time out, leaning more toward the former than the latter. But who cares? Agin, all that matters is that it is another modern and wonderfully fresh slice of music for those who like their rock music both melodic and full of muscle.
