Well, that grabs your attention. The spoken word sample that kicks this EP off demands that you keep listening, even if it is just because of the stark and confrontational nature of what is being said. If that is how they kick things off, you ask yourself, what will the music be like?
Well, I can tell you. The unassumingly named An EP is a collection of raw, unruly and rambunctious (I’ve always wanted to use that word in a review but was scared too; now seems an appropriate time) punk salvos, not un-reminiscent of early stalwarts Stiff Little Fingers. And a reference points go, for this type of music at least, there are few better.
