‘Sweet Boy’ is the 3rd track to be released taken from SONS sophomore album, out now on [PIAS] Recordings.

With machine-gun guitars, tight and mean drums and singer Robin Borghgraef going overdrive in the chorus, ‘Sweet Boy’ has SONS foaming at the bit. It’s a track destined to cause mayhem in clubs, arenas and festivals everywhere!

With ‘Sweet Boy’, the band has released an – in its own words – ‘coming of age’ record. A balancing act of a band that threw itself headfirst into rock ‘n roll mayhem, with the new record SONS rhyme about getting older and getting settled in contrast to their wild hopes & dreams of the ragged rockstar life. It’s an album that builds on the foundations of their debut and adds at least 4 more storeys. Solid garage punk, anchored in the American West Coast tradition, pedal to the metal while looking to the future. Echoes of contemporary post-punk, nineties guitars and a touch of psychedelia. But above all: conviction.
