What a superb brace of songs. The first is a deft and delicate slice of acoustica, dreamlike folk built of just dexterously picked guitars and a simple, single voice. And man, what a voice! In the spacious framework of From The Inside, it resonates and resounds amazingly, an example of context and sonic setting creating something that is more than the sum of its parts. Much more.
Six Hands is a more band-driven affair, a cool alt-pop tune, both buoyant and brilliant, again doing so much with the few sonic threads it works with. Lovely stuff, indeed.
