Once you understand that the title refers to that moment that the deed is done and you find yourself in that state of closeness, bathing in the afterglow, a sublime and sensuous state of oneness, then you can appreciate the music much more.

And so “Feverlock,” Frezya‘s follow-up to the much-acclaimed “Furtiva,” is that rare thing, a song where the feel of the music matches the message of the lyrics, both coming together to enhance the other. The words add a layer of seduction and serenity to the music, the sonics, in return delivering the message on a gentle wave of sonic gold.

“Feverlock” is a song built on gentle dance rhythms, heavenly beats, and a sound that ebbs and flows between intimate whispers in a lover’s ear and the brass-infused sonic highs of the most exclusive dancefloor in town.

“Feverlock” captures the spirit of the night but not the wild-eye rush of crazy excitement often portrayed in songs, but rather the calm and sense of timeless saftey found in the arms of another, the gentle sway of two dancers becoming one, the haze and heat of people lost in the moment, lost in another’s eyes, lost in each others embrace.

It should be made mandatory that if you were to look up the word sensual in the dictionary, then this song would immediately start playing.
