Well, if the likes of Duke Special says that Moon Landing is a band to be held in high regard, then who am I to argue? But you don’t have to take Mr Wilson’s word for it, though he does have great taste. No, just listen to Blink Once and Miss the World Go By, a new, four-track EP from this rising Northern Irish artist.
Blending shoegaze soundscaping with chiming understatement, post-rock onslaughts with dream pop delicacy, pop sensibilities with rock swagger, and folk intricacy with classical grace, Moon Landing is undoubtedly one to have on your radar.
Gorgeous! There’s no other word for it. Big things seem likely for next year, watch this space.
