And it works. Boy, does it work. A bundle of soulful licks on top of that solid beat, timeless vocal style and some classic indie rock vibes. And whilst it might be built on some very traditional sonic fundamentals, Happy To Be Here is about as representative of where indie pop is today as you can get.
