There is an art to throwing everything bar the sonic kitchen sink into a song and still coming away with something that errs on the right side of chaos. Stone Cold Sweethearts seem to understand this art all too well.
Blow Your Mind is a song packed with gnashing guitars and squalling riffs, vocals that switch from the complimentary to the conflicting and then back again, thunderous beats, and brooding bass lines. Yet it is their ability to separate these gnarly grooves and muscular melodics, raw and wonderfully ragged riffs and a ton of in-your-face attitude, just enough that makes the song so beguiling.
