Do you remember all those postcards of London punks from about 1980 with studded leather jackets, bondage trousers and towering mohawk hair? Well, they all played in bands that sounded like this or had a mate that did or climbed in the toilet window of gigs of people who sounded like this…to avoid paying on the door.
The look might have changed, but the spirit remains as angry, charged, wonderfully incoherent, aggressive, abrasive, direct, brilliant and scary as ever. It’s all about passion, man!
