A Shared Experience – recollections of Jimi Hendrix

The authors of a new book on Jimi Hendrix are looking for your help. Following the well-received first volume of ‘A People’s History of Jimi Hendrix’ (Spenwood Books), a second collection is now in the works. This popular musical series takes the form of articles and essays, thoughts and photographs of cherished artists submitted by fans.

We are happy to hear from anyone who would like to write about what Hendrix meant to them, live recollections, favourite albums, overall impressions and anything else. You might be a fan, or someone who worked with him, a musicologist, or just the man or woman in the street; maybe you are a musician who he influenced or just an avid listener. You might want to contribute a couple of paragraphs or a long-form piece of writing. If you think you can help, we would like to hear from you.
