The band name is well suited to the music they make and Vultures in particular sounds like a filmscore to falling into a euphoric, drug-addled dream-state. Strings soothe and backbeats set up a hypnotic rhythm as hushed vocals and shimmering synths glide across your skin, peacefully lulling you into a false sense of security and calm…. then bam! Everything is heightened, separated, bigger, more kaleidoscopic, more intense…like a tsunami of emotion and colour washing over you. A music induced high, like hooking up to your stereo and mainlining sounds straight into your system. I’m sure in some future place and time the fantasy of absorbing music directly into your body will become a reality, until then you have Delta Mainline.
